What is the Power Training Academy?

Power Training Academy is designed and dedicated to help k-12th grade athletes reach their full potential by offering camps, skills clinics, strength and conditioning programs, as well as, education in sports nutrition and sports psychology. The Academy is led by a dedicated, caring, knowledgeable staff. It is our mission to develop a strong character, healthy sportsmanship, discipline, and “a LOVE for volleyball” in each athlete we train.

Coach Megan has a love and passion for volleyball which has not declined since she first touched a volleyball over 25+ years ago. In 2000 she earned a full athletic scholarship to play volleyball for the University of North Texas. Over a decade later, in 2011, she was selected to play on the All Army indoor and beach volleyball teams as well as selected as an alternate for the indoor Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) team. She believes in hard work but focuses on the enriching attributes and positive effects sports can have on athletes lives.
