Covid-19 Updates, Policies, and Procedures

When an athlete or coach identifies they have tested positive.
  • Athlete/coach that tested positive must be quarantined for 5 days from the date of the positive test. Athlete/coach can return to practice if they are showing no symptoms
When a household member of an athlete or coach tests positive.
  • Athlete/coach can return to practice if they are showing no symptoms.
  • Power will not require a documented negative covid-19 test.
  • At coaches discretion, players may be asked to wear a well fitted mask.
When an athlete or coach has been in contact with someone that has tested positive outside of your household.
  • Athlete/coach can return to practice if they are showing no symptoms
  • Power will not require a documented negative covid-19 test.
  • At coaches discretion, players may be asked to wear a well fitted mask.

Covid-19 Reminders
All staff and students should stay at home if they exhibit any of the following new or worsening signs and symptoms:
Feeling feverish or a measured temperature of greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees
Loss of taste or smell
Cough
Difficulty breathing
Shortness of breath
Headache
Chills
Sore throat
Shaking or exaggerated shivering
Significant muscle pain or aches
Diarrhea
Congestion or runny nose
We continue to seek guidance from local and federal agencies including Collin County Health Services, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We appreciate your help in keeping our athletes, staff and community safe.
