Hello Power Family,

We are extremely pleased to announce some additions to Power Volleyball Club’s leadership team. Please help us congratulate Heather Turck and Jennifer Fluty! Heather will be our new Coaching Director. Heather has a long history of volleyball experience as both a player and coach at the highest of levels. In high school, she made the All-state team, was team captain and MVP, won the State Championship, and was ranked 12th in the nation as a starting outside for Front Range VBC in Colorado. She was a Silver Medalist at Nationals during her 18’s year and finished in 5th place at Nationals during her 16’s year. She was a 4 year starting outside at Virginia Tech University, earning all-conference honors 3 years.

Her coaching experience is just as impressive:

  • Coached 15’s club for 2 years during college in Blacksburg
  • Student assistant coach at Virginia Tech
  • 10 years developing younger players and working and running summer camps
  • Coached 17’s and 18’s for North Dallas Juniors for 2 years
  • JV coach for 1 year at the Episcopal School of Dallas
  • Varsity coach for 2 years at Episcopal School of Dallas
  • Coached top teams at Black Hawks for 3 years, 14’s through 16’s
  • Coached 3 years at Dallas Premier, coached 14’s through 17’s

Heather will help develop our coaching staff to be the best in the North Texas Region; she will also work to better our communication with coaches and parents, improve volleyball education, promote club unity, and much more…

Jennifer will be tasked as an assistant to the directors to help improve the overall experience at Power Volleyball. Jennifer Fluty has played volleyball for 12 years and is entering her 4th year of coaching. She was the head coach of Power 14-1 last season. She believes that having a positive environment while still giving constructive criticism is the most effective way to get the best out of young women playing volleyball. She coaches with passion, enthusiasm, and a competitive spirit. She strives to get the best out of all players and invests in them not only as volleyball players but also as young women.

Adding these ladies to Power’s leadership team will allow Tony and Chris to focus on our goal of making Power Volleyball the best club experience in the North Texas Region!

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Tony and Chris
