What are Tryout clinics?
Tryout Clinics are structured with fast-paced drills and competitive gameplay, specifically designed to evaluate athletes for placement on next season’s club teams. These sessions provide our coaching staff with valuable insights into each player’s skills, athleticism, and fit within our program, enabling informed decisions on potential team placements and offers.
We’ve intentionally built in buffer time during the clinics to allow coaches to speak directly with attending athletes and families. Starting May 18th, non-binding verbal offers may be extended during these events to athletes not already a part of Power Volleyball.
It is highly recommended that your daughter attend these tryout clinics if she wishes to be considered for a position on a Power Volleyball team. Attending maximizes her visibility to our staff and increases the chances of receiving an offer. The Evaluation window opens on May 4th, 2026.

From May 4th – May 30th:

What are Non-Binding Offers?
Once a player and a coach mutually agree that the team is the right match, a verbal offer will be extended, and the parent and athlete will confirm their 100% commitment to Power. This agreement gives assurance that the spot on that team will be reserved for the player. This assurance takes the form of a non-binding verbal offer. May 18th is the first day non-binding verbal offers may be given.

What does a verbal offer mean at Power Volleball?
When a Power coach extends a verbal offer, Power is committing to your family to reserve a spot on a specific team for your daughter to play on until July 7th, 2026, at which point we can officially sign a binding financial contract for the season. We ask that families only accept the verbal offer if they are 100% committed to joining that team.
