2023-2024 TRYOUT PROCESS INFORMATION
Power Volleyball Club was founded in 2015 by Anthony Duenas and Chris Finseth to establish and develop a year round club volleyball program that focuses on training and building elite volleyball athletes of all ages. We are conveniently located off hwy 121 and Alma at Craig Ranch in McKinney, TX. Please review the FAQ section for an explanation of the rules as well as clarification of frequently asked questions regarding tryouts.
Athletes interested in joining Power Volleyball should register to attend our Pre-Tryout Clinics for their age group. These clinics will focus on skills development, competitive drills, and gameplay within an age group. These clinics are perfect opportunities to know our staff and club as well as ask questions.
Pre-Tryout Clinics will start in late May and run through our official tryouts and signing date.
Power Volleyball follows the North Texas Region rules for selecting athletes for teams. Official offers will be sent via the Online Commitment System (OCS) on the Acceptance Date. Official offers may be any time on or after the Acceptance Date.
Evaluation Window for all age groups opens Saturday July 8th
Acceptance Date for all age groups starts Sunday July 11th (online process through OCS)
Important note regarding tryouts
Tryouts will run over 3 days. Your one-time registration will allow you access to all 3 days. We will update positions available on each team after each tryout session. It is advised to communicate with your age group coaches for the most accurate team information.
*** Due to USAV age restrictions, our tryout registration is set to capture athletes of the correct age. Please ensure you are registering your athlete (member) from your account, and not you as the parent.***
