As we look ahead to our March community service initiative, we want to focus on supporting someone very special within our own club.
Our 13 Purple Head Coach, Jennifer Hill, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of this season. Despite facing an incredibly difficult journey, she continues to show up for our athletes with unwavering strength, determination, and love. If you know Coach Jenn, you know that asking for help is not in her nature—yet she is always the first to offer it to others.
Even with insurance, many of her treatments are only partially covered, making costs challenging to manage on a teacher’s salary. Her faith remains strong, and we are standing with her, believing for full healing and comfort during this difficult time.
Coach Jenn’s Impact on Our Power Volleyball Family
Coach Jenn has been so much more than a coach—she is a mentor, motivator, and a steady source of encouragement for our athletes. Her passion for developing strong players is matched only by her commitment to developing strong individuals.
She instills confidence, grit, and teamwork in every athlete she coaches. The culture of her team—one built on respect, support, and determination—reflects the heart she brings each day. Even in the midst of her own battle, she continues to pour into others with positivity and purpose.
Her resilience inspires players, families, and fellow coaches alike. She exemplifies what it means to be part of the Power Volleyball Club: strong, united, and full of heart.
To support Coach Jenn, we are offering the opportunity to pre-order a Breast Cancer Awareness shirt for March. Shirts will be delivered in April. All proceeds will go directly to Coach Jenn.
