Expertise Level: At least 2+ years of coaching experience and or 5 years of personal playing experience

Required Qualifications:

Available in the evening at least 2-3 days per week for practice and 2-3 weekends a month from Dec- May
Highly motivated and able to demonstrate a positive attitude, enjoys working with kids
Good communication skills with kids, parents, other coaches and administrative/leadership team
Willingness to complete coaching certifications
Flexibility in work schedule
Recruiting is required to ensure our club attracts, develops and retains the best athletes while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Candidates should have the following skill-set:

Ability to proactively identify his/her team needs
Ability to attract candidates using various sources such your coaching history, our club history, social media, network and individual referrals
Ability to scout from within the club, at camps, clinics, etc. and outside the club, at local high school or middle school games

Job Responsibilities:

Organize and execute effective team practice
Assess volleyball players’ skills and assign team positions
Effectively manage and evaluate assistant coach
Evaluate own and opposing team capabilities to determine winning game strategy
